Description:
In many areas of the Gulf of Mexico asphalt seeps from the sea floor and offers a biotope for diverse organisms. Pogonophores are just some of the creatures that settle on the barren seeming asphalt. For higher resolutions and more photos please contact the Public Relations-Team at the MARUM.
