Everybody knows the drill. Schedule a quick experiment. Be done within three hours. You think. Of course, eventually it takes six. And what has started out as a concentrated but predictable half-day in the field turns out to be quite an ordeal. Only true enthusiasm lets you pull through in the very last gleams of daylight... This picture was taken at our ASSESS-GPR site at the very end of one of our recent experiments in which we monitor hydrologic processes with Ground-Penetrating Radar. See EGU2012-8869 for details.
